Apple "deals" thread week of 04/24/09

I was at Best Buy the other day and noticed that they now have the Apple AV composite cable set on clearance for $25, instead of the typical $49+ available everywhere else. This is somewhat of a good deal, as it's (a) 50% off original price, and (b) comes with an USB power adapter that lets you charge your iPod through a power outlet. Seeing how a standalone USB power charger from Apple costs $30, you might as well save $5 and get this instead. Sure, there's more clutter but you never know when it'll come in handy.

And for those of you thinking about running a cheap Mac, the 1.83GHz C2D Minis are available for $420 at the refurb store. Price is current as of 04/24/09 1:25am PST. Specs are as follows:

Its a grey area as many of the Apple topics overlap among the different forums here (for example iPhone questions fit in both Cell Phones and All Things Apple). This one is definitely leaning Hot Deals, but didn't strike me as needing to be moved as it was clearly an Apple centric post and not a specific deal as Hot Deals is usually organized by.

I take 'All Things Apple' at its word, literally anything related to Apple. I do look at each thread on a case by case basis though if I really think it would fit better in another cat.
