Apple conroe pricing

Im looking at buying an apple workstation. Since conroe is around the corner I consider waiting for one such. Because imac only hold 2gigs of ram that i no option.

So its either G5 or conroe. Of course there are som obvious advantages with the intel-machines. They can run win AND osx. Also conroe will be faster than G5. So the question is pricing. At what price will the MaConroe be introduced?
 
Most likely the same price as current G5's were when they were new. Apple pricing has been more or less consistent. It may be cheaper (due to mass volume economics), but most of Apple's cost goes into R&D and such anyways.
 
Hm... The G5's were introduced att 3000-4000$ if im not misstaken.... Hopefully they droop the price a little. When runnign the same processors as the PC-world it may be a little harder to overprice...
Ore maybe i should go for a hackintosh...
