Apple confirms September 10th iPhone event

Why are Anandtech not covering this? Why is Apple not living streaming like they did for WWDC 🙁(((((
Even my local radio station is covering this, but I suspect it's a reporter that reports not just to my radio station, but to a whole chain of them.

However, I suspect AnandTech may not have been invited. I heard on the news that a lot of journalists expecting to get invites didn't get them. BTW, sad when its news that news outlets don't get invites to hear about new tech news. It just goes to show you how well Apple has mastered the media.

Anandtech has been at every event up to this point, it just seems rather strange. 😕

You can, but you can also choose less than that.

We figure if we've set a 4-digit passcode, then it should just accept it if the 4 digits we enter are correct.

What if you enter 4 incorrect digits?

The phone knows the length of your password, but an intruder should not.

If you enter 4 incorrect digits, then maybe it should just sit there. That would solve that problem. Perhaps Google thinks that's confusing though.

Excellent.

It seems both AnandTech and The Verge have quickly updating streams. Luckily I'm on dual screens here. I just have both up.

However, The Verge has a better position in the audience. The pix are all straight on. Too bad more of The Verge's pix are washed out.

i use engadgets because its the only one that works for me at work. none of the pictures on the anantech main page show up, same with th elive blog. whatever host he uses is blocked

and verge just crashes IE8 (work)

Hmm it looks like it's just images.anandtech.com. That's weird that you can't see it.

EDIT:

They're talking about photos. I wonder if we'll finally have the ability to have more than one album. At least from what I've experienced, I can't move photos that I saved from Safari out of the Camera Roll album, but I can apply them to other albums. That means they're in both.

Yup, 32GB 5C is $199. 5S 16GB base practically confirmed unless they move the price point to luxury levels.

Also, I think the holey case looks kind of dumb. Seems like it would be a lint trap.
