No, apple moved there in 1991.

All those buildings to the west of the main campus along De Anza are Apple also, guess microsoft missed those? This is a non-story, they are using outdated photos.

perhaps. but what does that say about MSN/microsoft, a company that always likes to be ahead of the game? who is the obvious authority on satellite imagery now?

Neither produces the images. They rent/buy them from the companies that produce them. MS took their's from an older terraserver who has been publishing them online far longer than Google. That's all.

MS, I'm sure, will update in due time.

Neither OWNS the images. They rent them from the companies that produce them. MS took their's from an older terraserver who has been publishing them online far longer than Google. That's all.

i'd imagine they'll update their images soon as well. still, this can't possibly be a positive thing for microsoft, knowing that they are using incredibly old images while their rival is more current and up to date.

MS is working with what was left them when they took over the previous website.

Give them time.

psh! MSN Virtual Earth is both a mapping program AND a time machine! Beat that google!

Actually, moving through a map on MSN is much faster and smoother than google maps.
