MACH 5, which stands for Multiple Advanced Computers for Hypersonic, G5, will occupy 42 racks and 600 square feet of floor space, said Anthony DiRienzo, a Colsa executive vice president. Apple was the winning bidder among six companies, DiRienzo said, declining to name the competitors.

i wonder why they can't just use the prior score for top500, that other apple would still be in 4th place
 
I used to think the apple g5's were pretty cool, but out of the say 10 we've gotten from them, only about half of them work. The other half were sent back because either the super drive wouldn't open because they were mounted wrong, or because the mb or fans were screwed up.

Now, apple sucks...
