Apple at E3! New games coming!

Look at this HUGE lineup of games that were demoed at E3 and will be coming out for the Mac!

Warcraft III
No One Lives Forever 2
Did we mention Warcraft III?
Myst III: Exile (uh, isn't this one out already?)
Sahdowbane
Doom III
Civilization 3 (these were new games, right?)
Neverwinter Nights
James Bond 007 Night Fire
Sim City 4
Harry Potter

Oh, and I hear there were some edutainment titles too. See? And I bet you thought the Mac wasn't a gaming platform. It's got a whole whopping 11, er, 9 games coming out!

Looks like the Half-Life engine is finally coming to the Mac after all these years (Nightfire) Maybe this means CS will be coming too?

(Nightfire = Gearbox = "id and Valve Tech" = CS:CZ technology = Half-Life engine)

Yeah, although their system has a lot of cooler features than a PC. Ever really use one? OSX is based off of Unix...I've never had mine crash. No OS updates every 3 days either. Plus, people are really willing to pay for their OS, as opposed to Win/Lin/Sol/Be/BSD releases. I know more people w/Macs that actually are ethical people (although I can d/l mac software as I want) than I do w/Windows.

Decent enough lineup. All mac users need are a couple of good games. Hardcore gamers buy PCs or playstations or xboxen. Mac games are for the casual user that just wants to be able to play some games.

This is a solid announcement for the Mac OS.

All of you apple whiners are so lame.

I agree that the comment implying that Macs sucks was unbased.


I have to say that RIGHT now, Macs only sorta suck right NOW

Sucking is usally based on programs backing it up, and Mac has less, albeit gainning support quicky(games in the thread)

Obviously, anyone who knows anything knows that the MAC OS base(UNIX BABY!!!) is definitely a finer base(Darwin) to startt with compared with the NT kernal...beats windows to a pulp...BUTTT



bbuutt...The resulting Mac OS has a ways to go..it is indeed a FINE OS, but maybe that 10.2(Jaguar?) release will let it achieve perfection

Haha yup. Macs are only good for me to poop on. I have thoroughly used OS 8.x, OS9.x and OSX and I hate them all.
