The only reason people are treating this as such a big deal is that they are accustomed to Apple making such perfectly polished products. I actually like Apple Maps fine, and to the extent it doesn't work perfectly I have another full GPS app, Navigon.

meh...they probably pushed it out too soon but as their data grows/refines most of the problems will disappear soon enough. The larger issue I have is that there are no transit directions.
