Does anyone even read links?

But what happens if you don't have a quick internet connection? 4GB download?

I've done over 20 years of developement work. It's not like Lion is leaps and bounds different than SL. 10 bucks as opposed to 30 bucks is resonable. Remember way back like 20 years ago when MS had a minor update to DOS 6 ( I could be wrong on the version) and sold the DOS 6.2 for 10 bucks to users who had 6? I feel this is the same.

Relax guys, its not like I said APPLE is the DOUCHE for even charging for this crap!

lucky for you that 30 today is like 10 back then. ever heard of inflation?

Can't wait for Lion!
Going iMac a year ago was the best decission I ever made in my computer world. EVER!!!
It's soooo nice to have a machine and os that does what u want, instead of a machine os you have to constantly Fu@k with first, every time you want to do something.
Then you end up getting so distracted getting the windows machine ready to do what u want, that you forget what the hell you were trying to work on in the first place. Like having a car, and everytime you want to drive it, you discover first you have to change tires, plugs, oil, THEN maybe you can take it for a drive.
I fully trust Lion to make computer life even more enjoyable.
ANd I use to actually build windows bases pc's. Won't even touch them now...
I have no idea what version of windows is currently in the pipe line. Don't even care...
When my family has issues with their windows pc, and cry for help, I just say "save up and GO GET A iMAC!".
(But all mac users know where Im coming from...)

What issues do you have with Office 2011 and Lion? I am forced to use Word daily and haven't had any issues.

well, from what i have read so far there are some compatability issues with the new software and microsoft office. of course, i don't know for sure as i have not tried the new software, i am basing my assumption upon what i have read. If i am wrong, then i will get the new software when it is released. - i get my info from this site roaringapps.com/

Most of those issues seem to be from DP2. We're on DP4 now, so I doubt you'll have any issues with it.
