<< the Macintosh operating system (MacOS X) is called... Darwin! That's right, new Macs are based on Darwinism! >>

<< Furthermore, the Darwin OS is released under an "Open Source" license, which is just another name for Communism >>

HAHAHAH!!!!

I especially like the part where Pokemon is an evil plot to subvert our children to the threory of evolution "via oblique references whose constant reiteration is designed to inculcate acceptance of their unacceptable message." LOL. I always knew Pikachu was the work of the devil. :)

This company is well known for its cult-like following. It isn't much of a stretch to say that it is a cult. Consider co-founder and leader Steve Jobs' constant exhortation through advertising (i.e. mind control) that its followers should "think different". We have to ask ourselves: "think different than whom or what?" The disturbing answer is that they want us to think different than our Christian upbringing, to reject all the values that we have been taught and to heed not the message of the Lord Jesus Christ!

lol! :)

<< This OS -- and its Darwin offspring -- extensively use what are called "daemons" (which is how Pagans write "demon" -- they are notoriously poor spellers: magick, vampyre, etc.) which is a program that hides in the background, doing things without the user's notice. If you are using a new Macintosh running OS X then you probably have these "daemons" on your computer, hardly something a good Christian would want! >>

LOL you fool, open up the Window's Task Manager and take a look at all the background services (daemons in the Mac world) running on your computer.

People can be so dumb!

All I know is Os X is a complete slow dog compared to any MS operating system. I bought one of those new flat panel iMac with a 700mhz PPC chip for the whiners I live with and it's abut as fast as a P200 MMX running Win 2K as far as opening and closing windows and applications. Plus it's over priced.

Anyway the good points are the very nice flat panel an ease of setup. plus it's almost silent when operationg

Heheheh....I can't beleive people still fight over evolution. You can see fossils of how animals have progressed, you can see evolution everyday in bacterial resistance to antibiotics....people just can't let go. I'm Catholic and the priest at my church even knows that evolution is real. There's still room for religion and evolution....God could have started the spark that created the universe and all the rules it lives by...we're just a result of those rules. The problem with things written in the bible are that those people lived thousands of years ago. If there was a process they couldn't explain, it was a work of God or Satan. We're smarter now and know how things work, so we should take that into account when reading the bible.

Macs and Pokemon spreading evolution...now THAT's stretching it!

Not to turn this into a flame fest, but where are the transitional species? For all the claims, for example, that point to humans evolving from chimpanzees, they have yet to produce a single transitional species... i.e. "the missing link".

Another question that I've always had for pure evolutionists (I am a guided evolutionist, by belief) - how did the Cambrian explosion occur? It's my understanding that the majority of the major forms of life appeared within a short amount of time, too close together to be completely attributed to the evolutionary process.

Evolution is not the same as bacterial resistance. There is no doubt that small changes can occur within members of the same species - witness human beings as they've grown (collectively) taller, witness bacterial resistance to antibiotics, etc. But, to my knowledge, no one has yet to show evolution occuring between species (again, the "missing link").

You know ther are at least five types of creationist theory right? "Young earth creationists" (those who believe the earth is 6000 years old) are simply scary IMO since as you say all the evidence points agianst that theory. My religoin is also Roman Catholic (I was born into it) and you right it jives with faith to believe God created the spark and the elements since ther is no falseification method known. YET.

EDIT gawd this iMac is slow!!:|

The AT effect at work???

ADDENDUM IV (4/21/2002): Apparently anti-Christian zealots -- as well as shocked Christians who have unwittingly become Mac owners -- are linking to this article, which explains the large number of emails we have received on this topic. More clues have come in showing the dark nature of Apple Computers. According to one of our readers, the new MacOS X contains another Satanic holdover from the "BSD Unix" OS mentioned above; to open up certain locked files one has to run a program much like the DOS prompt in Microsoft Windows and type in a secret code: "chmod 666". What other horrors lurk in this thing?

HORRORS!!!

To answer your first... The claim isn't that we evolved from Chimpanzees. The claim is that we have a common ancestor.
