Apple Airport Questions

Will the Apple Airport work with any 802.11b compliant wireless network card? And will it work well with a mixed Apple/IBM network? It serves as a hub as well doesnt it?

Yes, Airport should work with any 802.11B... if you open up the hub it's just a Lucent WaveLan PC Card inside...in fact you can take out this card and plug it into any laptop and it will work... I've used it before interchangably with Cisco Aironet hubs--so yeah, you shouldn't have any problems. Hope that helps.
