Been trying to setup a wireless network but for some reason it just doesn't want to work right.
What we have is a Apple Airport base station hooked up to a direct ethernet line (university t1)
That is used like a DHCP server to then send signals to 3 mac Laptops and 3 Compaq (windows XP home edition) laptops.
Macs are using typical mac laptop nics and compaqs are using Dlink 650's
The problem we are having is that the signal works just perfectly for about 3-5 minutes...but then all the sudden the connection to the inteernet will fail(not the signal though)...and then 3-5 pass and it is up again...but this cycyle will repeat itself endlessly....
I've searched around on the internet and have scene this problem but saw of no solution...can anyone here come up with one?
