there are a few questions to which i'd love to have answers for...

What PC video card (PCIe or AGP) is compatible with 2560 X 1600 resolution ?

Can i use video cards recommended on apple's site on PC computers (Drivers...) ?

Does the cinema display (30 inch) have any competition in terms of size and resolution ? which manufacturer ?

Who makes apple's 30 inch panel (... i know the 20 inch panel is made by LG.Philips) bu who makes the 30 inch version?

The new 7800-series has dual-link DVI, as does most of the workstation cards. The Dell-branded 6800GTO, as well as the Asus V999 6800 (non-ultra) is also dual-link.
You can't use the video cards Apple sells, as they use a Mac firmware.
I don't think theres any competition if you want just one screen, other then the IBM 22" LCD that has the same (or more) pixels, but thats much more expensive, and smaller, thus harder to see things.
I believe LG/Phillips also makes the 30", but I'm not totally sure.

Also, it really wouldn't kill you to format the question(s) a bit better.

The ibm is considerably larger resoulution at 3800x2400. However, I belive it has been discontiued, and the reatail price is around $8,000. Veiwsonic made a similar display as well.
