That's become a very common defense among Democrats: You KNOW we'll fuck it up, so you guys have a moral obligation to get on board with our ideas and somehow make them work. Curious, that.
Driven at least in part by the desire to have someone, anyone, share the blame. Unless of course they can spin it such that Republicans get ALL the blame. You have captured the essence of current day Democrats very, very, well sir.

If so, why even come to this forum to debate anything, since mostly everything that is debated here we are generally powerless to control?
I've stated it numerous times before here. I post for my own amusement. What other reason would there be? You admit that we are powerless although you did hedge a bit. Some glimmering form of hope perhaps? Regardless, have you asked yourself why you post? Have you been honest with yourself in your answer?

If there are things you want changed in this nation it will not be accomplished here. This forum is a colossal waste of time. The people that are honest with themselves realize this although I know for certain that we have a slew of simpletons that think they can truly make a difference right here. This is a venue of both expression and entertainment - nothing more.

I get the most amusement out of how people interpret posts here. I find it a very interesting pastime. I started a thread about some anti-Obama folks that made their proclivities known by putting up posters and sending out a letter in the Silicon Valley area prior to a fundraising visit by Obama. The responses are classic P&N. The butt-hurt staunch defenders get aloof and then go into denial. My sanity is questioned. Then, overnight the less than bright interpret the letter wrong and are perplexed. Should I really have to get back into the thread to explain that the letter was pointing out the incongruity of holding $32,000+ per plate fundraisers in a nation with declining incomes and lifestyles? By a political party that is as responsible for the decline as the opposing party? Surely I thought, someone would get it. One person did - just one. It's all amusing. I started the thread which is something I rarely do of late but these same responses are available for entertainment in virtually every thread.

Called it!

You would think an outright admission of trolling would get you banned but I guess not. Maybe it's because no one believes his bullshit or his bullshit reasons for posting his bullshit.

Canned response in 3...2...1...

So, basically, because we can't change something we shouldn't talk about it? Sounds silly when I put it that way right?

But wait, wasting your time is amusing to you?

All these posts to detract from the fact you were wrong. I think instead of jumping into this rabbit hole you should have just admitted you were manipulated by whatever site you read.
