Apparently we've had a piece of legislation passed which makes it easier for Feds to reopen cold cases.

I did not know this because it didnt make a big splash in the news at the time. Unsurprisingly Fox ran one piece when a Republican Texan initiated the bill.

More surprisingly they ran the news about Biden signing the Cold Case law. I guess since it appears to be tough on crime they have say something.

They cite the 1991 yogurt shop murders as being the main inspiration, probably because that case was so famous, but there's thousands or tends of thousands of other cold cases, some of which are clearly remembered in their small communities.
Shit, we may even get lucky and actually arrest some old bastards who thought they were free and clear.

If anyone has more info on how this law affected our nation, I would love to hear about it. Has the FBI successfully investigated any old cases specifically because of this?
