No torrents...no porn...what's the OC3 line good for, then?
Business stuff.
So you're excited about the OC line for what?
Blazing download/upload speed.

To do what? I mean if you rule out porn. What's there left to download

warez?

OC3 of transport or transit?
having and "OC3" doesn't mean a whole lot in reality.
They could bottleneck your connection, you could have an OC3 of fiber and one 64K channel active... you need more details before you get all excited.

OC3s are a little dated and not used much except for small customer connections.

AFAIK, yahoo is distributed so probably 3 OC-48s at each data center would suffice.

Are lines even classificed anymore? I work for a school district and there are 100s of people using the net at any one time. Everything is very fast and all I ever hear is "fiber."
