a) Palm Beach may have moved the precincts boundaries around.

b) She may have moved.

c) Given that the media has unfettered access to the Dems there; her attourney does not want to put anything in writing - the article indicates that the original information was given to the press.

The press has a great story - they want to play it up.

1. You, the voter, are responsible for voting at the correct precinct.

2. You, the voter, are required to register with the state any change of address and then are responsible for voting at the correct precinct.

c. Moot point and/or strawman/red herring.

if this was just your average citizen who made this mistake (IF it really was a mistake), you guys would forgive them without a second thought. heck, i'm sure this happens all the time when people move a short distance and forget to change voting stations.

Then again, being that Coulter is knee-deep in politics, it's very difficult for her to plead ignorance in this.

Ignorance of the law does not excuse you from it.

Poor Ann. All she really needs is a good scrogging to settle down.

Any volunteers?
Anyone?

Huh, didn't think so. Guess that explains it then.

Well, it would have to be someone thats into trannies. Kind of limits the pool a bit.
actually, I'm not sure that's entirely true around here...
You'd be perfect for the job plus you and her could trade makeup tips.

In NC your change of address/change of precincts is tied directly to change/renewal of your drivers license (although there may be another way to do it?). Plenty of people around here move across town etc., but don't go get a new drivers license till the old one expires (who wants to hang around the DMV for half a day?).

I.e., lots of people end up voting in the wrong precinct. You pretty much have to, if did go onto the new, correct precinct they would have no record of you and you coundn't vote.

This is much ado about nothing, other than to point out the bizarre political grandstanding and extreme partisanship at work for so long in that county.

Ugly and skanky? She's 45 and looks damn good for her age. I'd hit it, regardless of how odd she is.

She is not attractive. At. All. Unless you're into trannies. Then we might have a volunteer to jump on the grenade.

Sure she is Right Wing.. her comfort zone.. but she'd have been as Left Wing as she is Right Wing had Clinton been a Righty..

Some day folks will see all these Media Faces for what they are... someone to stir the pot and keep it stirred.. it is all about Marketing... selling books and themselves...

This ain't real life for them.. it is how they earn a living.. their passion is their facade.. They are actors... Ann learned this cuz she's bright... very bright..

I know.. she sat with Reagan for a picture op.. before Clinton was in office.. My wife was next in line.. heheheheh

We have passion... they.... they have agents..

Exactly. The Ann Coulters are the professional wrestlers of politics.
Suspend your disbelief and enjoy.

Well if these allegations prove true we can be assured we'll never hear Coulter whine about dumb Democrats who can't figure out how to vote.

If by "fit" you mean ghoulish with the adam's apple of a man, then yes, I agree.

WEST PALM BEACH, Florida (AP) -- Conservative columnist Ann Coulter has refused to cooperate in an investigation into whether she voted in the wrong precinct, so the case will probably be turned over to prosecutors, Palm Beach County's elections chief said Wednesday.
---
Knowingly voting in the wrong precinct is a felony punishable by up to five years in prison.
---
Anderson said a letter was sent to Coulter on March 27 requesting that she clarify her address for the voting records "or face the possibility of her voter registration being rescinded." Three more letters were sent to Coulter and her attorney, but she has yet to respond with the information requested, Anderson said.

In July, Anderson said, he received a letter from Coulter's attorney, Marcos Daniel Jimenez D'Clouet. The letter said the attorney would only discuss the matter in person or by telephone because, he complained, Anderson had given details to the media. Anderson said the matter had to be discussed in writing.
I wonder what her excuse will be?

Liberals hate America and there were so many liberals in my district that I was compelled to go to a more accomodating environment.

Obviously, it was a simple mistake it would have been settled long ago.

"She wrote down an Indian Road address instead of [her correct address]http:// on her voter's registration application. And she signed to certify the information as true.... Florida statutes make it a third-degree felony to vote knowingly in the wrong precinct. Lying on a voter's registration can cost up to $5,000 and five years behind bars."

From a Feb. 2006 article on Huffington Post. Unless she had some type of residence on Indian Road she maybe in deep S**T!

COmments in the post refer to her using her realtor's address when she registered to vote???

The wierd world of the "elite"!

from her past experience and in line with the current style of her party, she will somehow spin the incident and convince her fans (not a hard thing to do) that clinton and kerry was behind it all.

as to who would volunteer to slam her, i believe peewee herman, boy george or marilyn manson would be good candidates, seeing as if they're all from the same social circle and all have personalities to match.
