If we could ask, I think the 100 million dead due to communism would say no.

In my State, 72% of jobs are "essential." That would seem to imply that however our current economy is structured, not quite a third of it is unnecessary-but-nice-to-have.

Not sure how you get the second part of that question from the first, though.

if we could ask, i think the Hundreds of Millions due to capitalism would also say no

If communism get's to be accused of millions of deaths, so does capitalism, we have abundant resources to feed everyone yet people still starve to death because someone wants to have a bigger number on their bank account, same goes for medical care

Something tells me that they aren't letting the new social distancing guidelines impact their business too much.
uh .. no.
i mean, not the $1k a pop hookers, those are still working, but the streetwalkers, they can't just hang around. I'm being serious, there's a lot of sex workers who need to put food on the table. And not just in the US, but around the world.

Does this mean communism works?

It means automation works. Whether or not that supports any of Marx's assertions (or whether Marxism has anything to do with any past, present, or future manifestation of communism on a national scale) is another matter entirely.

Apparently what turns out is those who are deemed to be essential workers are often underpaid and underappreciated
