Hey guys, would anybody be able to make an ipad app which turns off the led backlight but leaves power still going to the screen? My ipad is jail broken so it doesn't have to be an official app.

Let me know if anybody can help thanks.
 
I'd look into it, but I don't have access to an iPad. But doesn't the screen turn off automatically?
 
Isn't there already away in SBSettings (or whatever it is called) to dial the brightness to 0?
 
Secretive stuff muahahaha lol I'm trying to install a different screen and it needs that functionality, I don't think I will be able too since the pins are different but if I do I need That function
