Sorry if this has been asked before, but it's insanely hard to query for translation service as platform on which people translate and translation as in service where they do the translation for you.
I have an Android project, which isn't open source, but it doesn't exactly rake in cash either. App is a really small one, some 100 - 150 strings or so, but adds up to 3000+ with all the translations
So this is a question about transifex, crowdin, poeditor alternative.
I have researched these and their pricing seems totally ridiculous to me: why would I pay $20 per month for some site to host a tiny database for me. Not that $20 would be enough, mind you: my totally tiny project lands about in the middle of these services' portfolio. At these rates, it pays more for me to just program my own translation service. It's not rocket science! /rant
So, does anyone know of a translation platform that charges reasonable prices (as in $20 per year)?
