app that will let me face chat from Phone to PC

Does one exist? Im asking for a friend who i can only assume sucks as searching for shit. and because im lazy i figure ill just ask here

i know skype and G talk will do phone to phone but will any do phone to PC?

Skype is on PC, so I believe that would work out fine. I haven't tried it though.

On Android you can use Skype (does not work on all handset with front camera) or Oovoo (also limited devices only). Fring also might work but I have not tried this myself. Check that, could've sworn there used to be a Fring for PC but apparently I was thinking about something else.

Oh and of course if you are on Apple's environment Facetime works from any iPhones - 4th gen iPod Touches - iPad 2 - Mac computer with OSX 10.6 or newer.

Skype works on my iPhone to video chat with my gf on her laptop. Not the best but it gets the job done.

Have him give it a try on his Infuse. I'd assume the android version is similar.

Oovoo works on Infuse! So have him try that. It may be a pain as he'll have to ask the other person to install the pc version on the computer. But it'll be a satisfying experience. I have tried this myself on my Dell Streak and Oovoo is great!

He can also try Skype first and see if it works. I don't think there's a list of officially supported android handset for video conference, so he'll just have to try. In places like XDA or other there are people working hard to hack the Skype .apk to make video conference works with specific handset, so that's an option as well. We actually just got our first working (hacked) video conference Skype .apk for Dell Streak a few days ago.

Keep checking Tango. They are releasing it for PC soon and that will be what I would use as it will pretty much work with everything.

see if you can find a hacked new version of gchat for your device. this will work with the gmail video chat.
