Wart, what you posted bypassed ALL google apps.

After all the advertising that VZW has done for Android and the "Droid Market" I don't see them shipping a phone without the Market.

What about a special "Verizon App Market?"

They could, but there is very little reason for them to do so. Much more harm than good to do that.

On a related note, is access to the repos limited to google? I know there's apps like AppBrain out there so if others could have access to the google repos then VZW COULD write their own market app with a special "blacklist".
