app for whole house intercom?

i have multiple tablets mounted in each room for Home Assistant.
is there an Android app that would allow me to call tablet 1 in room 1 to call tablet2 in room2? im thinking there must be a way/app right???

Try this. I don't think HA lends itself to realtime two way comm between devices.

Cheapest and easiest way to do is probably using amazon echo dot.
But then you got big brother amazon listening to you.

Prime day is coming up too, so echo dot's should be really cheap.

yeah, i heard people using Dots too. but i cant stand amazon probably spying.
