So, I need to put some thumbnail preview pics out of videos for a website, any program that would do this?

I'm looking for a program that would load a video file and make several thumbnail sized pics at various times

virtualdub can do it.
(load video, change dimensions, change frame rate so you don't capture a billion images, and then do Save Image sequence. if you want just a section of the video, you can clip it. just don't save over your original video )

Try Image Grabber 2.
It's a little easier to work with than VirtualDub for taking snapshots of videos.
