App for iPad to make a sound when screen is touched?

I'm using iPads for my business Point of Sale System. Unfortunately, the POS software doesn't have the option to make a sound when the screen is touched when selecting items when conducting a transaction. This is a problem as cashiers aren't always looking at the screen to make sure that the iPad fully registered the touch so a sound would be helpful here.

Is there an app out there that makes the iPad make a sound when the screen is touched just like a regular cash register would? Did some Google searches and didn't come up with jack.

Not likely, because apps are so sandboxed, I doubt you could install something that would do anything like that. Unless you jailbreak the tablet.

So the app itself I'm working in would have to support in then. Crap...
