It originally aired on TVO here in Canada. They just wrapped up the series this week. I enjoyed it. Both it and Apocalypse: WWII are excellent documentaries.
Why aren't there movies that focus on it? Forgive me for saying this but I would love for trench warfare to get the Saving Private Ryan treatment, ie. showing how brutal it was.
WWI was crazy because firepower had advanced but there wasn't shit for armor or troop transport yet.
