I?ve been registering/hosting all my domains with aplus.net for about two years now and I have about 10 domains there. Just looked into dreamhost and saw that they offer unlimited hosting on one account (which would save me some money if I switched over from aplus seeing as each additional domain costs 2 bucks or so a month to host at aplus).

That said Dreamhost has a huge (50 dollars) setup cost which can only be avoided if one prepays the first year in advance. While I?m willing to do this, I?d like to know how reliable Dreamhost customer service is. With aplus I can call them toll/fee-free any time I want and they?ll have someone on the phone in less than a minute.

Dreamhost? Is it worth it?
 
I'm not sure about their customer service, but I used Dreamhost for a year, and never experienced downtime, and everything always worked perfectly.
 
a couple of my friends have been having problems with dreamhost recently.

go check the webhostingtalk forums for reviews and stuff.
