Dont think so (very possible though), I do know he (its a one man group) made a double album and didnt give any of the songs a name, just send a couple of pics in the envelope and each pic symbolized a song.

Richard D. James (Aphex Twin) goes by a few other names such as Polygon Window, Caustic Window, and AFX. Most of the caustic window stuff is amazing (some of it is just annoying). Check it out some time.

Most of the tracks on the new album, drukqs, are named with gibberish like that.

Aphex Twin likes to pull jokes on people.

Last year or something an album was released with an artist called Squarepusher, later it turned out that it was just Aphex Twin having fun.

Czar, just WHAT are you talking about? Aphex Twin is not Squarepusher. Squarepusher is Tom Jenkinson who is signed to the same label as Aphex (WARP). He has released five albums in the last five years of which at least three are great. Check out "Hard Normal Daddy", "Music is rotted One Note" or "Go Plastic". If you wan't an introduction just go grab "Iambic 5 poetry" of the net and have a listen. Great tune. Now go beat up the guy who told you this about Squarepusher 😉

Maybe it is a conspiracy after all then 🙂 I mean there are pictures of him on WARP's homepage and on the albums, but he was scheduled to perform with Aphex and WARP on SONAR Barcelona this summer but his set was cancelled at the last minute😱 I smell conspiracy 😉

Seriously though I'm pretty sure he exists, but Squarepusher is a group sometimes and not a person and maybe Aphex has participated, expecially since the first two albums or so was released on Aphex record label which I can't remember the name of right now.

It has changed a bit, they dont mention the part where Aphex twin sayis he is Squarepusher, just alot of talk about Squarepusher and Aphex twin working together.
hmmm seems to be a different interview because in the other one he says that the biggest fun he does it play at private parties. Like some total stranger calls and asks him that on the 15th next month his friend is going to have his birthday and was wondering if he(aphex twin) could come and play. If he has time he does.. strange guy
