forget that, they're selling the AD703 for $229, a 3 disc DVD/CD/MP3 Changer! Man these things drop in price FAST!

APEX AD703 at circuit city

AD703 is a DVD/CD/MP3 3 disc changer
AD660 is a DVD/CD/MP3 single disc player
500A is a DVD/CD single disc player

i'll just be glad when they have 200 disc DVD/CD/MP3 changers :)

too bad they dont' have the secret menu and stuff anymore.. =)

oh yeah, and i got one with the secret menu back in the day from circuit city for 150. hehe

Secret menu are for to disable MacroVision protection and region free if my memory serves me right. :) Oops, what did I just said? Maybe I am still not fully awake yet.

I have one with the loophole, wasn't worth all the trouble playing many discs (or not playing). What about the early Sony PlayStation 2 that were being imported to US. You could of had a PS2 and an Apex with loophole menu all in one, wish I picked up one of those...

Apex machines are bad bad bad.

The only reason to buy one is if you must have an MP3/CD player. Do not buy one for DVD. They have lots of problems playing the newer "seamless branching" DVDs. I had one for a few months and the picture was so dark it was unwatchable.

Actually.. I bought the Apex 600a vcd/cd/dvd/mp3 unit 99$ over the columbus sunday holiday special.

Not sure if they are still that price.. also I think they are the 660 model now @ 149$.

works fine.. cant seem to get the SPDIF input to work in my sblaster live with digital in.
