Anybody seen/used/own one? How do you like it? Just curious. I was at walmart today and they had a 20" model for $168. The cable box on my parent's old TV bit the dust the other day, so we needed a newer, cable-ready tv. I didn't particularly like the one I had, so when I saw this today, I picked one up and we moved the other two TVs in the house around. What's the worse that could happen, I figured - if I didn't like it I could take it back as long as I had the reciept. For that $168+tax I got a 20", flat-picture-tube, stereo TV with one S-video and two composite video inputs and a composite video out. The picture looks good, though maybe a little too red right out of the box. I think I fixed that. The sound is much better than on the 19" Samsung that I did have; the speakers on it buzz. The only real complaint I have against this Apex TV is that the jack panel on the back needs to be braced a little better; it bends into the TV when you try to connect cables.

hows the quality, reliability, etc of it? I'm thinking about picking one up since it's so cheap and my current 27" is getting pretty blurry and losing its color.

I think i saw an apex 27" for 199 in the circuit city ad today.
It'd be nice to get an opinion on it.

Anybody else?

I've tried a couple of DVDs on this thing now (S-video from my Hollywood+ card, using both fullscreen and widescreen formats, anime & live action) and it looks much better than my old Samsung did.:D
