27" is a big screan? What exactly does a digital comb filter do anyways?

Well the inputs would be needed to hear the sound in stereo, now if you have a good reciever and speakers then stereo inputs would be unimportant but then again you probably wouldn't be buying this tv.

By the way this is a great deal, I just recently bought an Aiwa 24" flat screen for $300 had I seen this deal I would have gotten it.

The reason it doesn't have stereo inputs is because it isn't a stereo TV, which I wouldn't expect at this price. The S-video input is a bonus, and if you want any real stereo sound you aren't going to use your TV's speakers anyways.
 
So isd the consensus agreed that this is a hot deal?

Cuz my old 27' conked out on me...It was one of the best TV's everr and now i need a new one and this price is right
