Apex 1150 DVD player. What is the warranty?

I bought an apex dvd player from sears and it played it's last movie 2 night ago. It will only get through the FBI stuff then it locks up, if even that far (you can hear something baning one time on the inside). This is my 2nd DVD player (first one Sony) that has had problems in the last 2 months.

I cant find their website or warranty information. What is the warranty on Apex DVD players? Anyone have any luck with RMAs?

I dont have the box anymore. I do have copies of the rebate forms etc.

1yr, iirc. Take it back to Sears..it's worth a shot =)

Yeah, it should be 1 year. Although with Apex having all the troubles they are right now, you might want to see if you can exchange for another brand.

My Apex (forget the model..1110W, maybe?) has been running great for ~2yrs now - problems in the first month aren't a good sign..

I emailed customer support and it got returned: user unkown.
Not a good sign either

It was only $27ish after MIR, but still, I deserve for it atleast to last a year.
