....and just problems in general.
I have a few .avi files that I would like to burn to DVD. Ususally I just fire up DVD santa and let tr do it's thing. For some reason dvdsanta won't touch these files. As soon as I configure it and click "create dvd" it just shuts down. So .....I tried winavi. It seems to do the job and when I play the created vob files with media player classic the aspect ration is fine, but when I burn the DVD and play it on my home dvd player, the image is too stretched vertically with the people in the movie too long and thin. I have tried tempegnc but it tells me that the output file is too big for a DVD. (???)
I could never figure out how to do any of this using Nero 6 .
The source .avi file is 624 X 272
