APC SMT750 Smart-UPS 750VA best UPS choice under $300?

I need a new UPS for my home office, and:

- APC BE750G at $85 seems good enough but I'm worried it might not get along with my Seasonic X650 Gold (active PFC)

- reviews of other brands (CyberPower, TrippLite) are very mixed

The APC SMT750 Smart-UPS offers true sine wave, but is almost $200 more at Amazon and one review claims it has a constant low hum 🙁

Should I just cross my fingers and get the BE750G?
