You may want to get one that exceeds the power output of you PSU. If you're using a 500w or less PSU with this rig you will be ok although your runtime will be very small. I would get one that is 1100va or higher.

No one I know of uses the full power from his/her PSU. The max even most gamers use is maybe 350 to 400 watts. And add a monitor on that. So depending on your actual power usage, the backup time may be a bit short but it will be adequate to get the system safely shut down. A handy tool to have is the Kill A Watt meter - perfect for sizing UPSes. Newegg has them on sale again for members right now.
