Wonder if anyone knows which serial cable I could use with my unit.
I've got Back-UPS300 (simple one), which is equipped with serial port. Didn't come with serial cable or software; APC wants $39+tax+s/h on the website (p/n 940-0020?); that's nuts.
Do they have their 9-pin serial cables with different signal layout than regular serial or null-serial cables? I tried some time ago connect one of those to my Win2k machine (can recall if regular or null cable), and it didn't work; couldn't get reply through hyperterminal....
