Hi. I bought a new computer with these UPS a week ago. I never had problems with these but i never tried to cut off the energy to see if the energy supplier by the battery was working ok.
But today I pressed the button ON/OFF to turn on and the green light do not appeared and he was doing a bip. So i pressed the button a few seconds made a beep and the yellow light (indicating that the energy is supplied by the battery) appeard. And was emmiting four bips with 30 seconds interval. I checked the manual and i discovered that the battery was supplying the energy. I was alarmed because there was energy and for example the speakers where working. I needed urgently to use the computer so i thought "I will use the computer a few minutes". So i turned on the computer, next i turned on the monitor, made a strange sound and the computer was rebooted. Well i connected the monitor and computer directly to the wall switch and made a scandisk check. Nothing was harmed.

But my question is: I've a Samsung 17'' and a Anthlon 2600+, an Xoxyd Black case (with three fans and an lcd showing the temperature).
He's the UPS very weak to support the computer and monitor?

To resolve the problem of the UPS and experimented clicking the button in many ways. I pressed the button very long time and made a long bip. So i pressed off and all the lights of the ups was flashing. Next i turned the button and he was working normally, ok?

But what i made was not in the manual. They ommited.

Anyone had the same problem?
