an apartment im looking at says that its $835 a month. is that for the apartment itself or for each person??? plz help me so i dont get screwed over for my housing @ college.

that should be for the apartment...not per person.

if it was per person...thatd be 3-4 people. 2500/3200 a month..and thats really crazy.

Its almost always for the apartment.

HOWEVER, if they pay for water, you might have to add on another 50 bucks per addtional body in the house.

My agency is nice. They take care of water, garbage, and even the newspaper. I dont pay extra for other people. They'll even cut me a free key.

If it's offered through the university - it's probably per person. They had those at my school too, you paid the top-price for the dorms (ie: you paid the same price as you would if you were staying in the most expensive dorm) only you lived in an apartment.

Edit: just looked at the site again - that might actually be per-apartment. Your best bet is to call the apartment complex yourself or try and find them on rent.com and see if the rent is the same.

Every non-university owned apartment I've lived in has quoted me rent as per-apartment, not per person living there.

thanx i cant call right now, but will tomorrow. me and my roommate got screwed over in on-campus housing. a dorm behind teh fraternity dorms. anyways we will definately look into it.!
