Yea the units are really nice, but thats about it. We have a horrible parking situation here, and management does nothing about it. I finally b!tched and complained enough that they gave me half off of a carport. Fine. It's been about 2 weeks since I've had it and I have had four different cars parked in it on different nights. Their solution is to put a note on the car. I've done that. My question is what are my rights to have a car towed? Should I go buy, or better yet, have them supply me with a reserved sign that says cars will be towed? Flatten all four tires? Sugar in the tank? (A little excessive I think). Sorry I'm pretty sh!tty right now, and had to get that off my chest

Just make a nice sign saying this belongs a resident and your vehicle will be towed at your expense if you park here.

When I lived in one of those crappy apartment complexes, the management gave us a number for the towing company to call. We'd tow their arses.

Thats REALLY what I want to do right now. I can just imagine within a week of doing that my brand new Mazda3 would be keyed, or something of the sort

In my state, your sign has to identify the section of the legal code that allows a vehicle to be towed off private property at the vehicle owner's expense. You need to find out what the law is in your state - it may not allow you to invoke that law, as you are not the property owner.

In the last two years I've lived/worked at this apartment complex, I've towed maybe ten, fifteen cars. Only had my car vandalized once.

really?
what's the effect?

Clogged fuel filter, clogged fuel injectors, engine runs like $hit.

If the bottle is the same size as it used to be, it slides right in the filler neck of the tank. You won't even need a funnel.

Don't buy the sign, make it yourself for that personal touch. "Park here, get towed, no warning." Put the phone number of whatever tow company you use at the bottom so they know where to pick up their car :)
