Im looking for something that will be able to manage my apache configuration w/o having to edit configuration files..... Something free preferably.

I have used webmin on nix boxes in the past but this is for a apache n00b and will be installed on a win2k3 box and I dont want him screwing up the config files.

Basically looking for a webmin equivalent for windows.

If he can't understand the config files, he probably shouldn't be configuring the thing.

he can.... i dont want to have to figure out his problems when he screws stuff up and a web admin system like webmin or others would eliminate that.

if its on a w2k3 box why not just use IIS and have everything easy to setup right there?

Im thinking about it if I cant find an apache configuration utility.... since iis is already more or less there I just like apache better (but this is off my linux boxes where I have webmin to set things up)

vi is a great configuration utility. emacs or mg if you prefer it. Maybe notepad or wordpad. Nothing else is necessary.
