i have apache 2.x setup with restrictions on the different websites i want passwords protection to. is there any program that will edit my user/password file?
an example would be that i want to give somebody access to a certain site for 5 days, this program will add the username/password into the password file and then in 5 days delete it. i have access to the server so that is not the problem and it can be an actual program and not a script.
much like how serv-u works, you can just select a date at which the user/password is deleted.
