Hi folks. Ok. I have seen several posts from people about using Apache as a web server. Ok I have several questions then.

1. What file/version of Apache to you install/download & setup from the Apache website to run on Windows XP Pro? Also what would the site address be? Everytime I go there I get overwhelmed with the number of files, versions, types of servers, etc.

2. Are you able to run ASP or ADO type scripts (non .NET) on Apache? Or do you require add-on software?

3. Is there a easy install guide for this program/software?

Go have a look at PHPtriad. I dont know if they have it ported for XP or not. I run it on a win98se box and it is a winner.
