Heres my specs,
frech Apache 2.0.53 install-configured to listen to (lan ip)192.168.15.5:80
windows xp pro with xp firewall off
netgear router with port 80 forwarded to my lan ip
DSL with static IP
standard Domain
Zoneedit-with domain and www.domain pointed to my wan IP
anything else?
well all works fine with localhost, 127.0.0.1, (lan ip) when browsed on the lan
I can connect to webserver from the WAN, maybe download 50kb of data on occasion then just hangs/waits/times out for a long time.
I checked the apache logs and it shows the different external IPs connecting but nothing else after that.
I looked at other posts and mine seems to be different as apache is actually logging incoming http requests. I already tried different ports and all to rid the possibility of the ISP blocking ports.
Another thing is my ftp no longer works as worked flawlessly before the apache install. Similar to the webserver people can connect but cannot upload/download anything. then it times out. When the user connects it shows them logging in but like 2 seconds later they get a "document contains no data" pop up and my logs show they get disconnected
Thanks in advance.
