I've always been curious. If I just upload files to a directory without any accompanying index.htm file, I get a directory listing with a display that lists a truncated filename, date, size, and description.
How do I modify this so that I can show more characters from the filename and also add on to the description?
I can resort to saving the page as an HTML file and uploading it to the directory, but I would like to be able to upload a new file without revising the page.
