you'll be given a list of formulas-- all that you'll be needing on the exam. other than that, remember that the cure is rediculously generous, and you only need to answer one problem completely to guarantee a passing score of 3.

<~ took it 5 years ago, back when I was young =\

hmm, i should still brush up on my rotational stuff, i could use more practice. what kinds of stuff did they ask on the more recent tests? i have a few practice ones i did, but most recent was 1988. have they included more/less calculator stuff (my teacher said something about it, but i forget) compared to older tests?

Oh man....I took the Physics AP (C) test only two years ago and I can hardly remember a thing...

From what I remember, there wasn't too much calculator stuff. (I think.[/i])

thanks, i'll need it to get a 5. i think i'll get a 4 relatively easily, but a 5 will be tough. after that, on tuesday, is psych. god that test is easy compared to calc and physics.... then i'll mod my psu and mobo a bit if i can find the right pots.. then oc the hell out of it some more. you really can never get bored of modding and ocing heh. i'm in a neverending quest for pushing this little mobile barton to the limits... i can post above 2.8ghz and post above 280fsb (never tried both), but i'm hoping the vdd mod will let me go above 244 stable. but this isnt bad for all 1t timings. too bad the psu dips down to 11.4 under HEAVY load, so i gotta mod that too.. sigh, so much stuff to do. for now, rotational mechanics

You'll proabbly think I'm crazy, but I took 7 AP tests my senior year. :p (IIRC, they were: English Language, English Lit, Spanish Language, Calc BC, Physics C, Macroeconomics, US Government)

I did get a 5 on the Physics though (edit: the mechanics part at least). :) (I actually thought it was rather easy....then again, I was always one of the top students in my physics class anyways...)

Which physics test you taking? I got a 5 on the B exam, and both the C exams. I even left out a few questions on the B exam, so a 5 should be pretty easy.

My school cancelled our AP Physics class (only 18 people signed up). Our current class we don't even use calculus (but I use it anyway). It is a seinior slack class, so I can't help.

how about that physics B test? I'm feeling damn good about it!! I think I can get a 5 on it (more likely a 3 or 4, but I'll be happy either way!)

there are 18 in my class, but it didnt get cancelled. but what really sucks is that the free response section dealt with orbits and pendulums, neither of which we really covered in class... well, orbits for two hours, thats it, out of a whole dammned year! arghhh, i think i got liek a 3 on the test. i did well on the multiple choice, it wasnt hard, but dammn my teacher for not covering pendulums because 'there is only a question or two on the ap test on them' and 'it is more useful to study other stuff' sigh, o well, two down one to go

I had to self study it... our physics teacher didn't believe in AP Physics because it restricted what he wanted to teach versus what was on the test.

Isn't it the same price if you stick around for the E&M? Among the group of 15-20 people who took the mechanics, only my friend and I stuck around for the E&M portion. You're all wimps!!
