I just picked up a nice EIZO Flexscan T57S (same as C7S) for $20 at a thrift store. the guy there assured me that all their monitors are tested and working. I was all jazzed, but when I brought it home and hooked it up, it had a problem:
it turns on and shows an image, but it's just a squashed image that flickers up and down the screen at amazing speed. it looks to me like a sync problem, but I could be wrong.
edit:
ok it's probably not a sync problem because it doesn't change when I do different res/refresh, or even when the cable is disconnected altogether.
also, I noticed that in 2 or 3 places on the screen, there are sets of pure red, green, and blue diagonal lines. does that ring a bell?
