I took AP English Literature for NO REASON last year. I wanted to get a 5 so I could pass out of my 2nd semester English requirement. Apparently that doesn't even apply for EECS ppl like me so I took it for no good. Plus I got a 3, which is no good. A 5 is needed and that's only for L&S ppl.

Oh well.

I can't help laughing that AP tests are tomorrow though. Have fun!

Oh don't do what I did. DO NOT TALK ABOUT AP TESTS ON FORUMS AFTERWARDS. I'm one of the infamous kids who got "caught" by the College Board for talking about APUSH the night after taking it. Guess what happened? They invalidated my score (bastards) right after my acceptances came out. I freaked out and sent letters to all 15 schools I got in because perhaps I would be going to a JC after this. Luckily all of them were like whatever you can still come. And guess what. I made the last minute decision 1 week before the APUSH test to take it again, so I was sitting in with my junior friends during review sessions (who looked at me like wtf??). Anyways, I got a friggn 5 with last minute studying. Luckily I love APUSH so it wasn't a problem cuz I knew most of it to begin with. So guess what SUCK IT COLLEGEBOARD. I got a 4 the first time, you cancelled it for BS reasons and I got a friggn 5. Ok, just felt like yelling at them. Ok and please don't do anything to me now that I'm in college kthx.

I thought he did horribly on it and got a 4.

And the comp sci exam was the easiest test I ever took. No joke.

Oh, and i don't think college tests are harder than the AP tests except for maybe finals. AP tests are designed to last hours, college tests (except finals) last 1 class period.

you should tell that to all my CS professors, most of my tests all this last year were 3+ hours average, and then there was finals...

AP comp sci A test is a joke but then again most high schools have really crappy CS teachers.

AP english was moderately difficult but still not so bad.

AP physics C is the most difficult AP test in my opinion.

in order to do well on the essay portion, you got to be able to write clearly enough and give enough supporting evidence.

a bit of pseudointellectual acting also helps.

Are you only taking one? I took both the same year and didn't think they were bad, but I had a really good teacher, so who knows.

In other news, I haven't noticed that college exams are harder than AP exams. It probably depends on your major though.

Anyway, good luck. It'll be worth the stress if you pass. Mine got me out of 2 years of college, including nearly all my GEs. Getting into grad school, though, that's the trick...

EDIT: In case you can't figure it out, "mine" = my AP credits, not just my AP English tests :p

i'm screwed on comp sci AB

don't worry though, it won't be on your transcript

Speaking as someone who took the CS-AB test last year; it's easy as FVCK. I didn't even finish the curriculum, and my handwriting was the difference between me and a 5.

If you can code your way out of a paper bag, you're fine.

else
{
you.haveproblems();
}

The hardest part is writing code ON PAPER. I'm like "WTF! Give us typewriters or SOMETHING"

Just took English Comp and Lit. Multiple choice was pretty easy! Essays weren't as bad as I expected.
