Anyone here make this "upgrade"? I found a review, but it lacked for some details, so I'm just curious if it's worth the nearly $100 to move to the newer, or if anyone has a lead on if we'll be seeing AP-183s in the next year or so.

I can definitely see the appeal of finer control on these larger size fans without having to get a proper fan controller involved.

Also curious how they do in horizontal placement.

Anyone make the investment?
