Just about to order and put one of these things togther,

Aopen XC Cube White EZ65 Barebone System for Socket 478
at 800MHz FSB Intel CPU, Model EZ65 White, Retail

planning on leaving out the floppy drive and hooking up
a zip in the other 3.5" Slot as a slave off the CD drive
Is this possible? Just not hook up the floppy cable?

Yes, you can do that. The floppy uses it's own cable, port, etc. ZIP drives go on the IDE cable, with the CD/DVD/HDD. You could actually still use the floppy too if you have the room.
