Ok.. I checked the forums for this but I'm still confused. The Aopen XC Cube MZ855-II asks for a Socket 479 Pentium M, but I can't find a retailers that can offer this processor socket. Newegg has Pentium Ms but classifies them as socket 478. Same with ewiz.com and chiefvalue, etc. Is there really a socket 479? Can a Pentium M 478 fit AND work (no smart ass comments). Anyone make one of these before?

Here's the link to the Aopen SFF at Newegg.

p-m's are all socket 478, but since the pin outs are different they are listed as socket 479 top avoid confusion.

Does not work...

short answer, yes any pentium M will work if the socket is 479.
