Hey guys, I could really need some help here. This is the second AOpen i975Xa-YDG i got my hands on. I encounter now issues i haven't had with the first one ever.

Here first a few system details.

AOpen i975Xa-YDG Motherboard (latest bios rev. R1.08 or so)
Intel T2250 (1.73ghz ratio 13) Processor (with AOpen heatsink)
2gb GEiL Ultra PC2-5300 CL 3 4 4
400gb Seagate IDE
Samsung Lightscribe DVD RW
Radeon X800 Pro
Soundblaster Audigy 2

Now on my old board (before i sold it) I was using the same memory in dual channel no problem. I used a T2500 and had it on 235mhz FSB without any issues.

Now the problems here. I can't boot up into Windows if the memory is on Dual Channel but i have no problems when the memory is in single channel mode.

The CPU is clocked by jumper @ 200mhz FSB = 2.6ghz. Now here is my big issue i try to overclock it to reach something like 3ghz but it will not take over any adjustments i make. I set it on 210mhz it starts 200mhz, I set it on 230mhz it starts 200mhz, I set it on 201mhz it starts 200mhz. I doubt that the CPU is limited or the cause for this problem.

Heat is not an issue. Temps are nicely below 40 C.

My PowerSupply is a Hiper-R 580W.

Check on xtremesystems.org , they have a 10 page thread on that board. Its compatible with mobile Core2 Duo's too.
